We are two brothers brought together by a love for tea and a question we could not ignore: if India grows some of the world's finest tea, why have so many of us forgotten what authentic Indian tea tastes like?

It Started at Home

Because tea was never just another drink.

Growing up, tea was never just another drink in our home. It made conversations last longer, welcomed guests before words did, softened difficult days, and made ordinary evenings feel complete.

But as we grew older and became more curious about what we were drinking, we saw how often tea had become anonymous: strong colour valued over flavour, speed over care, and origin lost inside mass blends. That question became the beginning of Chai Ka Chain.

So we travelled, spoke with growers, and tasted teas across elevations and seasons. We learned that tea is not just tea. It is geography, climate, craft, and the hands that nurture every leaf.

Today, we source from single-estate tea gardens in Assam, Sikkim, and Arunachal Pradesh. No anonymous blends, no origin hidden from view, and no warehouse story standing between the garden and your cup.

The Indian tea industry has a pesticide problem. We face it by prioritizing chemical-free and organically grown teas wherever possible, because purity should be the starting point, not an exception.

Our goal is simple: tea that reflects its origin, the people who nurtured it, and the traditions behind it.
